His legacy inspired our name and continues to inspire our work.

In 2020, we launched Mountaintop Academy, a special business skills course provided at no cost to the six law schools at historically black colleges and universities in the U.S.

This school year we expanded the program at TSU Thurgood Marshall School of Law, by adding coaching support from our team, to rave reviews. We’re excited to share some of that feedback below and to spotlight a few of the exceptional students who participated.

Why Law School:

"I have always loved serving as a resource to people to help them accomplish goals they have always wanted to do but couldn't. This is what the legal profession does. Lawyers help people get from point A to point B, and that's what I want to do."

Practice Interests:

"I am interested in commercial law, insurance law, sports and entertainment, and estate planning."

Why Law School:

"I decided I wanted to go to law school because I realized the legal field was not composed of many people that looked like me. I wanted to show underrepresented groups they are able to overcome stigmas attached to them."

Practice Interests:

"I am interested in multiple areas of practice, such as criminal defense and civil defense. Upon graduation from law school I want to go into corporate law, so I can gain experience in civil litigation."
